If you know me, you know I've been stressing about this cake for a while now. I am pleased to say that after a lot of prayers, lost sleep, and time spent worrying, it's finished and has already been eaten. I worked on the little gumpaste people, signs, and vehicles for about a week. My idea of making the cake the day before to keep it fresh was a little exhausting. My oven was on from 10 a.m. on Friday til 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. It made it to the auction site, and it went well. Thanks to everyone who prayed for me and helped me to get through this one. I found a neat verse I wanted to share. The kids were watching Bibleman, a DVD they checked out from the church library, and I heard this scripture:
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men..." Colossians 3:23
I think this will be a very good verse to remember! I could not have made it through that project without Him!

The cake looked awesome and tasted just as good as it looked!! Everyone at our table was going on and on about how good it was. I got to brag that the cake maker was Ally's teacher:)
